BMW i – Born Electric

BMW are launching two new concept vehicles, the i3 and i8 which have been designed to meet the changing needs of the ever evolving city.

BMW I stands for visionary vehicles and mobility services, inspiring design and a new understanding of premium that’s strongly defined by sustainability.

The BMW i3 concept was previously known as the megacity vehicle. It was BMW’s first series-produced pure electric vehicle. Designed to meet the future mobility challenges in urban areas, its attributes are typically BMW whilst meeting the demands of individual mobility in the cities of tomorrow.

The i8 concept is a new generation of sports car. It is innovative intelligent and progressive. It combines a combustion engine with an electric drive system to achieve exceptional power, ensuring maximum driving pleasure with minimum fuel consumption, especially in urban areas.
