Hatchback cars form the most popular sector of the UK market; they are a handy family size car, good around town and hold their value. Most people buying a hatchback are looking for a cheap, economical car that is easy to run and comfortably hold an average family and its shopping or holiday luggage.

The latest model is a slick, road worthy car with a new engine that the company list as being 13% more efficient than previous models. The newer style also has a longer wheelbase and improved interior space come in at a starting price of £13,995 OTR.

While another classic hatchback oldie design the Citroen C4 has also come in for an overhaul. Amongst its new gadgets is a sensor that will detect if you drifting across lanes and the new designed steering wheel come with a whole host of control buttons within easy reach. At a starting price of £14,545 it also is supplied with climate control, rain and parking sensors and plenty of other extras that will leave you open-mouthed.
