Luxury dealership HR Owen is selling a rare Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition – one of just eight made.
Currently on on display at the Jack Barclay Bugatti showroom in Berkeley Square, it’s a an eye-catching black and orange open-top example, and was originally registered in October 2013. It has only had the one owner since then, and has covered just 1130 miles in its lifetime.
The colour scheme was conceived for the car’s record-breaking speed attempt, which took place in April 2013 when it reached a speed of 254.04mph. This run made the 1184bhp car officially the world’s fastest roadster.
Of the 450 Veyrons made, there were only 150 roadsters produced and of those, only eight were world record editions, making this a truly rare car.
