Jaguar and Lexus share top manufacturer honours in major reader satisfaction survey.

The influential What Car? JD Power results are out for 2014 with Jaguar and Lexus named the brands that consistently get it right.

The Volkswagen Up!, Skoda Yeti and Kia Venga were among the model category winners in the survey of 15,000 motorists which took place between January and March 2014.

The What Car? JD Power study measures customer satisfaction and is based on vehicle appeal (31%), which includes performance, design, comfort and features; vehicle quality and reliability (22%);  ownership costs (25%), which includes fuel consumption, insurance and costs of service/repair; and dealer service satisfaction (22%).
