The BMW 3 Series (E36) has been voted Britain’s favourite car of the 1990s by readers of the new no-nonsense monthly car magazine, Bargain Cars.
The bargain Bimmer pipped the Mazda MX-5, followed by the MGF and Jaguar XJ saloon, via a vote on Facebook and Instagram.
More unusual cars also got a look in, with the quirky Fiat Bravo and Brava twins putting in an appearance in the final Top 10, proving that enthusiasm for Nineties cars of all shapes and sizes is out there and being celebrated by enthusiasts.
