First podium of the season for “Ferrari”

Red Bull ace Jos Verstappen’s first win of the year at the chaotic, incident-strewn Emilia Romagna Grand Prix also marked a new era for F1- it was the 2021 podium debut for Ferrari Trento, the new Official Toast of Formula 1.

After the ‘dry’ Bahrain Grand Prix two weeks ago, the race at Imola marked the launch of Italian sparking wine Ferrari Trento’s three-year partnership with the world’s most prestigious motor racing championship.

Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris celebrated by spraying Jeroboams of Ferrari Trentodoc on one of the most iconic podiums in the world of sport.

The family-owned winery based in Trentino, in the Italian Alps, is a global leader in its field, crafting its luxury Trentodoc wines for over a century to become known as Italy’s sparkling wine par excellence.

The partnership with Formula 1 was announced in March and Ferrari Trento says it’s “a natural collaboration based on the shared values, such as the pursuit of excellence in every detail, innovation and passion”.
