MG’s Marvellous Mechanical Motors – A Look at the Range

MG is a car provider who continues to offer some stunning choices for people. The MG electric car is one of the most affordable ranges in the country – as you’ll soon discover.

There’s a lot of good things to come from the MG range, but let’s take a quick peek at the range that’s currently on offer – the top 4 models that they’ve got for people to get their hands on.

MG ZS EV

The first option up for grabs on the list is the MG ZS EV. This is actually the cheapest electric car in the country, and does have plenty of features crammed into a low price range.

The electric version is known for being a lot quicker than it’s petrol-powered counterpart. There’s none of that sluggish nature here, as you can do 0 – 60 in 8.2 seconds.

What makes the ZS EV stand out amongst the crowd when it comes to EV vehicles is the power of the brake pedal. It’s incredibly responsive and very precise, so you can judge quite easily when you need to start applying pressure. It’s also competitively priced, starting at just £25,495.

MG HS

While electric cars are certainly dominating MG’s lineup at the moment, they’re not all like that. The HS is an example of this, being a rugged and well-put together SUV that manages to impress even for a considerably lower £20,000 price range.

The HS excels most of all when it comes to normal driving. You can go from 0 to 60 in about 9 seconds, which is fairly good for a mid-range SUV. The automatic gearbox is much more suited to slower driving, and it’s one of those vehicles which is actually built well enough that you can enjoy taking your time.

New MG ZS

The new MG ZS is one of the more competitively priced models out there, being a definite budget car which does offer quite a bit of power despite the lower price range of £15,000.

This is a good little family SUV which does offer a lot for people who want to get something more from their experiences. It has the choice of either a 1 or 1.5 litre engine. Understandably, this means that you’ll have access to a considerable amount of power without any problems.

MG3

The final option that we have on the list is the MG3. This is one of the cheaper models still, being competitively priced at around £12-13,000. It has all that you could need in terms of power and torque, despite being £5000 cheaper than comparable models on the market.

The handling is one of the major selling points of this particular model – it really does handle well and can tackle a lot of issues all at once. You’ve got plenty of power to play with and very little drawback – it’s a good option. Definitely worth a look at if you’re not interested in paying a lot but still want the MG name.
